. if I have charges throughout the day I only charge long enough to where the battery notification looks primarily full. I will keep an eye out on it though to see next full run I do..
I've been a heavy user of my Droid for a while now, and with the same app load out as I had prior to 2.1, I'm noticing my battery life is horrible. I went from a full day draining me to only 30% or so to having to charge back to 100% multiple times a day. I also have. Anyone else having the same issue?
Battery life after kitkat update. Update. I did the FDR. Restored most of my data & settings; reinstalled most (not all) of my apps (didn't have many to begin with). My battery is at 4. This is with Wifi off almost the entire time, and GPS off the entire time. I can't say whether this is exactly as good as before the new OS version but it's clearly improved from pre- FDR.
I'll be curious to see how much that changes when I turn GPS on. That said, what a PITA! I had to spend half a day trudging through settings and re- installing apps, to get decent battery life back, and my phone still isn't set up exactly the way I had it before. I'm still seeing zero benefit to the new OS.
It really seems like either the battery life after the update early this morning and a full charge, last longer or the meter is acually giving a true. I have to tell you guys, I'm going to get this on a clipboard so I don't have to keep retyping it. Do not expect great. Battery question. I downloaded and installed Lollipop on Saturday afternoon. Charged my phone overnight on Saturday. Played around with it a moderate amount on Sunday. Went to bed last night around 11:00 o'clock and noticed phone charge was at 50%. When I.
Also, and this might make everything else irrelevant, it occurs to me that I'm posting in the wrong forum. My phone is Droid Razr M. I originally was creating a new thread in the Razr M forum, and the forum auto- found this thread, to which I posted, overlooking that it was a different sub- forum.
Apologies for the misplaced posts. But thanks for the suggestion of doing the FDR, which appears to have helped.
